I am always trying to better myself as an actor, director, writer and producer. I feel that learning things about all aspects of the industry help my career massively. It's always evolving and changing and I like to keep on top of the new trends. Here are some of my favourites!
Books on acting:
Books about helping/training your voice:
Make Your Voice Heard
by Chuck Jones
Books on writing: (they have helped me understand why writers write what they do and it has helped not only my writing but also my acting and breaking down scripts)
Save the Cat
by Blake Snyder
Books that have helped my mindset and auditioning skills as an actor:
Books about the industry:
Books I'm currently reading:
Hope they help!

For this week's self-care Sunday, I am going with the asper-mask because hormones and stress equal breakouts. This mask gives an amazing exfoliation as well as calms the skin and helps dry out pimples. The best part is that you probably have all the ingredients in your house AND it costs less than a dollar to make! All you need is aspirin, honey and water.
p.s. I have had this treatment done as part of a facial at a spa for over $100!!!
1 tbsp. honey
1-2 tbsp. water
Crush the aspirin into a fine powder.
Put aspirin powder into a bowl with honey and 1 tbsp. of the water. Add more water if too thick but be careful not to use too much water or it will be too runny and slide off your face.
Mix the ingredients together.
Use your fingers to apply the paste to your face and neck. Avoid your mouth and eye area. Leave on for 20 minutes.
Wet your hands and use them to wet your face slightly. Gently scrub your face (avoiding the eye and mouth area) for a gentle exfoliation. Rinse well and pat your face dry. Apply your favourite moisturizer! You can do this a couple of times a week. I usually do it once every couple of weeks.
Hope your skin loves it!
p.s. Comment below on if you tried it and whether or not it worked for you.
